Challenge: A Logo Without a Website
ProMark Utility Locating came to us in need of a website. They already had a logo created, but didn’t have any brand assets to match. A logo out of context can’t effectively convey the complexities of a brand, and their website lacked a unified voice, compelling value proposition, or a streamlined order of operations for their customers to request work.
Solution: An Interactive Experience
We studied the preexisting logo and leveraged its look and feel as a launchpad for a series of custom icons that each portray a service that ProMark offers. Their website’s homepage highlights these icons and displays them in an interactive slider below the fold of the page. The design carries throughout the whole site, including the customer portal, which is a custom built page that allows ProMark’s customers and employees to log in to their accounts, view past orders, and submit new ones.

Outcome: A Website as a Brand Asset
With ProMark’s new dynamic web design choices and in-house coded portal functionality, they have reported that customers find their services highly navigable. Work requests are easier to organize than ever, making the business’ behind-the-scenes operations smooth and reliable. ProMark’s website is proof that web development is (or, at least, should be) an exercise in branding.
